Asia Pacific (APAC) Data Center Overview
GTA's Asia Pacific (APAC) Data Center is housed in a secure, world-class facility in Piti, built by VNSL International™. The APAC Data Center is a fortified, safe, data hosting facility with basic infrastructure to deploy managed data applications and services.
The facility is fully self-sufficient with redundant power, communication links on buried fiber rings, and air-conditioning to withstand major disasters, such as typhoons and earthquakes. It has state-of-the-art fire detection and suppression systems and security camera surveillance to ensure customer property protection. GTA provides an on-site Network Operations Center (NOC), which is manned 24 hours a day to provide assistance and monitoring for its hosted customers.
Data integrity and communications are at the heart of globalization and as Guam grows, a secure hosting and backup facility becomes important for data sensitive-customers both on and off Guam. The APAC Data Center positions GTA as a regional hub for an Asian and a U.S. gateway for communications traffic.
